Richfield Historical Park
Richfield Historical Park is a 33-acre park featuring many historic buildings including the Messer/Mayer Mill & Homestead, Pioneer Homestead, Timber Frame Area, and the Lillicrapp Welcome Center. Adjacent to this park is the Richfield Nature Park which includes another 92 acres available to all visitors.
Note: Park hours are 7a-10:30p but historic buildings are only open during scheduled tours and Richfield Historical Society events.

Museum of Wisconsin Art
The Museum of Wisconsin Art offers programming for students of all ages! For younger students look for the Second Saturday, Mini Makers and Youth Tour opps. Have older students? Teen council members help plan programming, meet artists, assist with the annual teen exhibition and gain exposure to museum careers.

Magic Willow Alpacas
Magic Willow Alpacas welcomes groups of all ages out to the farm for field trips from mid-May through mid-November (weather permitting)! Activities include pasture walks, feeding and walking the llama/alpaca through an obstacle course with photo ops at the end of the course. Students can tap into their creative side with age appropriate make-and-take alpaca fiber-art projects.
Pricing starts at $8 per participant; no charge for chaperones.

Wisconsin Automotive Museum
Do you have a student who loves cars? Consider visiting the Wisconsin Automotive Museum while you study transportation history! The museum is Wisconsin’s largest auto museum, featuring classic and vintage cars and artifacts plus the largest assembled group of Hartford-built Kissel luxury automobiles. 120+ vehicles are on exhibit, including: Pontiacs, Studebakers, Chevrolets, Kaisers, Fords, and other cars from around the world.
Prices range from $6-$12/person.

Ideally, you’re interacting with people of all ages in real-life situations throughout Washington County. But homeschool co-ops can be a great way to find support and group outings!
