The ACT Test & College/Career Readiness: A Workshop for Students, Parents & Educators

  • Franklin Public Library 9151 West Loomis Road Franklin, WI, 53132 United States (map)

Join us for an evening with Dean Simon, a 40-year veteran of high school Chemistry education and current Wisconsin State Account Executive for the ACT Test. Dean will share his experiences in educating young people and explain how to create a school culture that incorporates ACT assessments as valuable tools in preparing students for their next steps in life--be it college, career, military, technical school, or other.

Topics covered will include:

  • Best practices for ACT Test prep and college/career readiness

  • Why the ACT Test is a readiness test and not a college test

  • Where the test comes from and why that's important

  • How educators can better use the ACT assessments to help students
